- Scottish born John Kelly's colorful life has led him all the way from the Merchant Marines, to the stage as a musician performing with such bands as The Echoes and The Dolphins, to the Smithsonian. A former winner of the Quesnel Drawing Award, he was named one of the top 100 artists in America by American Artist magazine, and Best Artist of the Malibu Festival of Arts, Malibu, California. He is also a long-time Associate Member of the New York Pastel Society. He is the subject of two books, and currently resides in Los Angeles.
